Cancellations

FOR PARTIES: In the event of poor driving conditions (or Covid shut downs), you may reschedule or we can offer you a zoom party, along with a discount (if booking was more expensive than a zoom party). In the rare event of unforeseen circumstances that our character needs to cancel, you will receive a 100% refund.

In the event that the booker cancels the party, the deposit will be retained and is non-refundable.

Supervision

In order to ensure that the attendees of the party have the most magical experience, we kindly ask that you monitor disruptive behaviour and attend to unruly children. Our character entertainers are not a daycare service nor is it their job to discipline children.

All guests interacting with our unicorns must follow the guidance of our royal attendants and wranglers at all times. While our unicorns are gentle and well-trained, we kindly remind all guests that animals can sometimes react unexpectedly. As such, A Country Princess shall not be held liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the unicorn's visit. We ask that children remain under adult supervision while near our magical friends to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment. Our unicorns are eager to share their magic, but to keep the enchantment alive, they must be treated with kindness and respect. Please do not feed the unicorns any treats without permission, as they have their own special diet. Tugging on their manes, tails, or horns is discouraged, and we kindly ask that guests approach the unicorns gently. The royal attendants and wranglers reserve the right to limit or end interactions if the safety of guests or the unicorn is at risk.

Liability

Your event character/entertainer will work to ensure that your home and guests are treated with the utmost care, however, please be advised that A Country Princess assumes no responsibility or liability to accidents or damages caused during your party/event to your guests or your property. Liability will lie strictly with the client. By inviting one of our unicorns to your event, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any damages to property or injuries to individuals that may occur as a result of the unicorn’s attendance. The event host agrees to indemnify and hold harmless A Country Princess and its attendants from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from the unicorn’s presence at the event.

Our company’s characters are representations of generic characters inspired by a variety of works and classic fairy tales, not name brand copyrighted characters. Any similarities are purely coincidental. We only accept bookings from clients who are aware that we do not represent licensed characters. In the event that you should require a copyrighted character, you should contact the company and/or copyright holder.
